Update - Sat, ride to Smuggler’s Notch (VT)
Good news! The weather outlook from yesterday remains solid. What’s left of tropical depression Debby is moving rapidly northward at 35mph and will pass west of New England leaving us on the side of less impact. The overnight rain here is generally expected to be 1-2” and to have passed through by sunrise. If there is a reason to wear rain gear in the early morning, it is likely to be due only to wet roads and can be removed when those are dry.
After rain passage the day will morph into good weather for outdoor activities including riding, with a mix of sun & clouds, easy winds WNW at 5-10 mph and high temps 75-80F.
When done, I believe you will remember Saturday as an enjoyable day of riding. Don’t miss it, nor your 50 Rides, One Nation photo).
I will continue the weather watch tonight with a final check about 5:00AM. If I have not issued a cancellation, the ride is good to go as anticipated.
Meet at the Meredith Irving at 81 NH-25.
Registration starts 7:30AM
Preride briefing 7:45 with KSU 8:00AM
See you tomorrow !
