I won two tickets to see Billy Idol at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford on Tuesday, August 18th. I already have tickets, so these are free for the offering. You will need to buy a parking pass

8/16 I will be leading the ride to the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne, MA. It will be crowded next weekend due to a charity art auction for the Bridge but should be a great ride! Flowers are in full bloom. We will be stopping at Zacks bbq down the road in deerfield first for a quick lunch. The food is excellent. Due to some road construction i decided to change the return route and will post links for both routes tomorrow.

Just an fyi, but LHD is no longer doing 1st come, 1st served on Sundays. Appointments only. Wish I’d known that last week! Would have been at the meeting and not waiting like a jackass…

Anyways, just a heads up for anyone who didn’t know.

Good Afternoon,

I am looking for committments from you all on who will be particpating in this years Ride to the Gettysburg, PA Battlefields. The trip is approximately 1200 miles Roundtrip. 3 Nights, 4 Days. We will be stopping for Humanity and Fuel breaks every 90-120 minutes (approx every 100 miles).

Day 1 - LHD to Lake Harmony, PA - Lake Harmony Inn

Day 2 - Pocono H-D, travel from Tannersville, PA to Gettysburg, PA - Inn at Cemetary Hill

Day 3 - Battlefield H-D and Gettysburg Battlefield Tour

Day 4 - Gettysburg, PA to LHD (straight home)

Don't forget the Police/Fire /EMS Charity ride on Saturday August 8th. $25 per rider $10 per passenger $10 for the meal. This is FUNDRAISER and is usually well attended.

A BIG thank you to the RC's on Sunday's ride and also the assistance by some "off duty" RC's. And also Zoe for running the registration table.

Thanks everyone for being so supportive and cool as hell. I didnt have the best weekend, but still had a good time.

Let's try again. Our ride to Quechee Gorge will be leaving from the Irving gas station. On Rt 104, 290 NH-104, in New Hampton. We will travel on Rt 104 through Bristol to Danbury where we will turn right onto Rt 4. In Lebanon, we will pull into a Mobile gas station on the right to put on helmets, if necessary, before crossing into Vermont. We will continue on Rt 4 to Quechee Gorge. There we will pull into the Snack Bar At Quechee Gorge for lunch. There are other places near by for lunch but I don't recommend Trail Break. We can get ice-cream at the Snack Bar.

The bridge over Quechee Gorge was under construction the last time I was there reducing traffic to one lane. The sidewalk was open though.

Mountain Creamery is permanently closed so ice cream is available at the Snack Bar.
