Ride to Wild Oats Cafe and Arctic Museum this Saturday 8/16.
If you haven't noticed on the schedule, we have a chapter ride this Saturday, August 16 to the Wild Oats Bakery, Cafe & Deli in Brunswick, ME followed by a free-admission visit to the unique Arctic Museum on the campus of Bowdoin College. The Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum is dedicated entirely to all things Arctic. It is named after the two most well known Arctic explorers and Bowdoin graduates Robert E. Peary (Class of 1877) and Donald B. MacMillan (Class of 1898). Check out the museum website to learn more if you are not already convinced that this will be interesting.

PS - The weather on Saturday is looking to be a perfect a riding day. Comfortably cool High 50s-Low 60s for KSU and rising to highs of only 78 (Brunswick, ME) to 83F (Lakes Region, NH) during the day. The day is forecast as DRY throughout, with probability of rain only low-single digit percentages.
The Wild Oats Cafe has both outdoor seating and large inside air conditioned seating. You can bring a bag lunch if you wish or enjoy the soups, sandwiches and many bakery items available to choose from.
By the time you blink a few times it will be September so don't miss this perfect riding Saturday in mid-August.
