About the Event
Helmets are required at the Vermont border. Â Ride length is approximately 10 hours with breaks and lunch.
We will be departing LHD at 8:30am traveling to the rotary and turning right onto Parade Rd. (Rt-106). Turn right onto Court St in Laconia (Rt-11A). We will travel through Tilton to the intersection at the lights in Franklin where we turn left onto N Main St. Travel approx. 0.8 miles and turn right onto Old US-3 (Rt-127)
At the intersections of Rt-127 & US-202 / (Rt-9), we will travel to the Irving Station, located at the Vermont Border to take a break and get gas. We will need to put on helmets here as they are required in Vermont.
From here will continue to a Chapter Challenge Photo spot for a short stop (Top of the Hill Grill)
From here we will continue Vt-9 to the monument.
We will stop for another Chapter Challenge Photo and view the Battle Monument for approx. 45 minutes. Â Rest rooms are available here.
From there we will travel approx. 10 miles to the Man of Kent Tavern in New York for lunch. Â Restaurant is located at 4452 NY-7, Hoosick Falls, NY.
This ride will be at a steady pace on 2 lane twisty back roads, state roads and short highways.
